As part of special building foundations, we perform anchoring. Thanks to the technical capabilities of the drilling rigs we use, these elements can be built in practically any geological conditions. Depending on their purpose, we install either permanent or temporary cable, rod, or drilled anchors.
Piles are currently the most common type of deep building foundations. We offer lagged drilled piles, unlagged drilled piles, drilled CFA piles, and claw-excavated piles simultaneously lagged by a hydraulic table.
Jet grouting is a frequently used method, primarily to secure adjacent structures when digging construction pits in urban areas. This method protects existing buildings and minimizes risk of damage. Thanks to the range of available drilling rigs this work can be performed with mini rigs in the basements of existing buildings or with large rigs capable of drilling down to 30m.
Building construction pits is currently a very common topic during the construction of modern centres. For vertical lagging construction, our company offers technologies like underground reinforced concrete walls, braced lagging, pile walls, pre-drilled pile walls, walls made of jet grouting columns, and micropile walls. To capture horizontal forces, these structures are supplemented by anchors on one or more levels according to static design requirements.
In difficult terrain and urban areas with limited space, or in the basements of existing buildings, micropiles are most often used due to their low demands on space and construction equipment. They are commonly used when building foundations for new buildings, micropile walls, landslide amelioration, repairing and reinforcing bridges, reinforcing foundations during building reconstruction, and for building protective umbrellas when drilling tunnels.
Driven HLV piles can be used instead of pile or micropile foundations. Reinforced concrete underground walls are often used when building deep construction pits and in specific conditions as well as in foundations. Cut-off walls are successfully used in environmental protection construction, for sealing existing landfills, to reroute underground water, etc. Thin cut-off walls are an effective technology for sealing landfills, sealing sloped construction pits, or, something frequently used in recent times, to seal river embankments.
Soil nailing is a method of reinforcing grown soil by drilling nails or inserting them into boreholes filled with a cement mixture. In combination with a reinforced layer of shotcrete, it is used for the descending construction of notches, excavations, and construction pits.
Injection moulding is used to reinforce or seal soils, rocks, and structures, and is an integral part of installation of anchors, micropiles, nails, and other special work (for example sealing boreholes). We mostly use stable cement mixtures for injection.
Different special foundation technologies are combined to structurally secure damaged buildings or as part of reconstruction. We also offer slope stabilization. Thanks to extensive experience in the area of building foundations and a broad range of technologies, we can offer our partners consulting, technical design, optimization of existing designs, or various design options, at all levels of design documentation including implementation documentation.
